The Marche des Fleurs is definitely worth stopping at. Streetside flower vendors sell a variety of cut flowers and arrangements. Less hectic than the adjacent Marche Artisanal which probably has more tourist appeal. Haggle fiercely if you do go shopping – the flowers are lovely.

This is a very good place to find great Cameroonian gifts, arts & crafts, and souvenirs. Actually, if you are in Douala, and are looking for a souvenir or a gift to take abroad, this is the best place. The flowers are also very beautiful. It is a must-see in the city. Don’t be shy to bargain for the prices.

The Market opens every day and it is quite ok to just get a stroll around the place. If you are a lover of beautiful sites, then Marche Des Fleurs is a must-visit.
