The Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization that works in Cameroon to promote the awakening of vocations, develop talents and disseminate knowledge. Created in 2002, the Jean-Felicien Gacha Foundation is based on the generous spirit, Jean-Félicien Gacha, who adopted and put into practice a: We must help others, listen to others, respect others, heal others. … And above all to love others.
They work in five main areas: education and training, culture and crafts, health and social action, environment and agriculture, solidarity tourism. In each of our actions, they are committed to sharing knowledge, by encouraging know-how and making it known, to know how to be.
Jean Felicien Gacha. from West Cameroon, was a senior official who shared a great passion for culture and art. His daughter Ly Dumas and wife of one of the heirs of the Hermes family, runs this organization as president. The Foundation is located near the city of Bagangte and also has a guest house. On several acres, the foundation site houses a culture centre, a library, a shop. heritage boxes. a child’s house, workshops for artists, in short, an open-air museum! Buildings like exterior fixtures are beautiful.
Ideally located on the homonymous hill, Villa Boutanga is a guesthouse of the Jean Felicien Gacha Foundation. It is open to vacationers and tourists and writers in residence at the Centre des Cultures Jean-Louis Dumas (CCJLD) located in the same region.
Located in the Nde Department, 7 km from Bangangte and in the village of Bangoulap, benefits from the proximity to the city and the tranquillity of the countryside and a magnificent view of the Grassland. Having 14 luxury bedrooms, each able to accommodate between 2 and 4 people depending on the chosen typology, you will appreciate its calm and atmosphere.
