Because we know Yaoundé is not enough, We will move some km first to the Ekali village in order to see all the handmade creations done by the people there. We cross Mbalmayo and make a quick stop, then your eyes will witness one of the greatest attractions in the entire natural world of Africa, which are the biggest and oldest trees, 1,000 years old+!

But before that, you are going to board the Nyong river in a canoe, and in the meantime you will discover all the biodiversity potential that Cameroon can offer – hundreds of animal species!

All about the Ebogo Ecotouristic Site.

Pick up at the hotel in the morning and driver by a private car. Cross the capital city of Cameroon with detail information of different attractions.

Visit the Ekali village of handmade furniture by local people, chat to some of the artisans about their work and life.

Continuation to the city of Mbalmayo (about 25kms), headquarter of the Nyong & So´o Division. Visit Mbalmayo and continue driving to village Ebogo (about 20kms – ten of which are untarred).

Board a canoe and take an excursion in the Nyong River to visit the forest after about 30 minutes of riding.

Trekking into the forest and visit the oldest and biggest tree in the world according to locals (Over 1,000 years old).

The site has several biodiversity hotspots: many wild animals, many endemic bird species, tons of fish species, hundreds of butterflies, and many other tree species.

Return to village and lunch in a restaurant with local food (food and drinks not included)

Drive back to Yaoundé and end of the tour.
